  • Digital content: any downloadable content, guides, videos, files or access we provide.

3. These Terms

These Terms apply to your use of our website and any order you place with us.

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order.

4. Using our website

You must not misuse the website. This includes attempting unauthorised access, introducing malware, scraping content, interfering with site operation, or using the website in breach of any law.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website if we reasonably believe there has been misuse.

5. Product information, compatibility & suitability

We take care to describe our products accurately. However:

  • Images and videos are illustrative; minor variations may occur.
  • Compatibility is your responsibility unless we have explicitly confirmed a setup in writing. Some products require specific camera/lens/adapter/hot-shoe configurations and correct setup.
  • Unless explicitly stated, our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

If you are unsure about compatibility or suitability, contact us before ordering at office@irislab.com.

6. Orders & contract formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order when we confirm dispatch (or otherwise confirm acceptance by email).

We may refuse or cancel an order (for example: stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, or inability to verify payment). If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you.

7. Prices, payment, taxes & import charges

Prices are shown on the website in the currency selected and may change at any time (changes do not affect accepted orders).

VAT: We are not VAT registered; VAT is not charged.

International orders: you may be charged import duties, taxes, brokerage and/or handling fees by your country. These are your responsibility unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing.

Payment must be made in full at checkout using the payment methods shown on our website. Our store platform and payment providers may apply their own fraud checks.

8. Delivery

Delivery options, costs and estimated times are shown at checkout. Estimated times are not guarantees.

Delays outside our control (for example customs processing, carrier disruption, severe weather, strikes) are not our responsibility.

Delivery address: you are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring someone can receive the parcel where required.

Risk:

  • For Consumers, risk passes when the Goods are delivered to you (or a person you nominate).
  • For Business customers, risk passes on delivery to the carrier (unless we agree otherwise in writing).

Title: ownership passes when we receive full payment.

Customs refusal / return-to-sender: if you refuse to pay import charges and the parcel is returned to us (or abandoned), we may deduct the original shipping cost and any return/handling costs from any refund where permitted by law.

9. Returns, cancellations & refunds (UK online selling)

9.1 Change-of-mind cancellation (Consumers)

If you are a Consumer buying online in the UK, you usually have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive the Goods (the “cancellation period”).

To cancel, email office@irislab.com with your order number and a clear statement that you want to cancel.

9.2 Returning the Goods after cancellation

After cancelling, you must send the Goods back within 14 days.

  • Return items in their original condition, with all included accessories, manuals and packaging where possible.
  • You may inspect/handle the Goods as you would in a shop. If you use the Goods more than necessary to inspect them and this reduces their value, we may make a deduction from your refund (as permitted by law).
  • High-value items: you should use a tracked and insured return service. You are responsible for the Goods until we receive them.

9.3 Return postage costs

For change-of-mind returns, you pay return postage costs unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.

9.4 Refunds for cancelled orders

If you cancel within the cancellation period and return the Goods within the return period, we will refund:

  • the product price; and
  • the cost of standard outbound delivery (if you paid for delivery).

If you chose a premium delivery option, we refund up to the cost of standard delivery.

We will issue refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods, or within 14 days of you providing evidence you have sent them back (whichever is earlier). Refunds are made to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

9.5 Exclusions from change-of-mind cancellation

The legal right to cancel does not apply to certain items, including (where applicable):

  • custom-made or clearly personalised goods;
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons once unsealed;
  • digital content once supply has started, if you agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged you would lose the cancellation right;
  • services which have been fully performed, if you requested performance during the cancellation period and acknowledged you would lose the cancellation right once completed.

9.6 Business purchases

If you buy as a Business customer, Consumer cancellation rights do not apply. Any change-of-mind returns for Business purchases are at our discretion unless the Goods are faulty.

10. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect Goods

If Goods arrive faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible at office@irislab.com with your order number and clear photos/video where relevant.

Consumers: your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms. Depending on circumstances and timing, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. If Goods are faulty, you may have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days from delivery in many cases.

Return costs for confirmed faults/errors: where we confirm the Goods are faulty/incorrect, we will cover reasonable return costs or arrange collection.

11. Services & digital content (if applicable)

If you purchase Services (for example, remote setup/support calls) or Digital content:

  • Scheduling: appointment times are agreed in advance. If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours notice where possible.
  • Cancellation period: if you ask us to start a Service within the 14-day cancellation period and you later cancel, we may charge for the portion provided up to the point of cancellation (as permitted by law).
  • Digital content: if you consent to immediate supply of Digital content during the cancellation period and acknowledge loss of the cancellation right, you will not be entitled to cancel once supply has started.

12. Warranties and disclaimers

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any legal rights you have that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Except as required by law, we do not make any guarantee that the Goods will meet every preference, workflow, or third-party compatibility scenario. It is your responsibility to ensure you are purchasing the correct configuration for your equipment and intended use.

13. Intellectual property

All website content, branding, text, images, videos and materials are owned by or licensed to IRISLAB Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or exploit them without our written permission.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or losses arising from misuse, unauthorised modification, or third-party equipment incompatibility.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Goods/Services, except where the law requires otherwise.

15. Force majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control (including, for example: carrier disruption, customs delays, strikes, severe weather, supply chain disruption, or power/network outages).
